Work consisted of replacement of all worn rail from Folsom Portal to Embarcadero Station. Approx. 3,600 lf of running rail & 1,060 lf of guard rail. Also replacement of one corrode fire supression deluge valve as well as the refurbishment of five deluge access panels. As part of the deluge valve replacement, the NTK was responsible for the safety protocol as required by SFFD and NFPA 13. The work is located in the City and County of San Francisco, in the Muni Metro tunnel between the Embarcadero Station and the Ferry Portal.
